“After being recommended to Catherine, at Letter Studio, we put together a list of requirements that would allow us to stay in our existing space. We needed an office that would not only be welcoming to clients but give plenty of space to the staff in a flexible configuration as we returned to office-based working. Much of our business is undertaken on the telephone so we had a problem too with disturbance from noise; especially when 2 or 3 people were talking at the same time. Coming out of COVID we also had a constrained budget to deal with as well.

So we had multiple issues that needed to be resolved by Catherine to achieve the goal of staying in our existing space. After initial consultations and discussions about the design, Catherine came back with mood boards and plans that not only resolved the issues we were facing but gave the space a real sense of coherence and purpose. Also included were some nice touches that really bought day to day benefits such as sit stand desks, areas to display our clients work and innovative storage solutions.

We worked together to keep the budget within our boundaries but keeping the design to our specification and ensuring that there was a focus on longevity in the materials that we used, as well as being able to reuse much of the new furniture and fittings in case we did move in the future. Letter also built in a modular element to the plans as well for future reconfiguration, giving flexibility and potential for growth.

We are really pleased with the final product from Letter, not only are visitors wowed when they first enter; it gives us as the people that use the space an extra incentive to come into the office. WPA is now not only an attractive workspace, but also an efficient and comfortable workspace too.
